Scott Dolan started working in Boston in 1998 as a
web developer, having built hundreds of websites and several large scale web applications. Mainly developing for
the real estate industry, he was a pioneering designer in the realm of Virtual Office Websites and
Internet Data Exchange system.
In addition, he worked on Customer Relationship Management Systems used by thousands of real estate professionals. By taking the time to talk to the users and understand the challenges of their workday and the problems of communication and organization that plagued them, he was able to build software that not only eased the workload of the user, but fundamentally changed the way they worked and handled their business allowing them to work faster, communicate better, and provide a higher level of service. Building large scale web applications that hundreds of thousands of users a day depend on requires problem-free software, expert design, and intricate planning. This experience is what Scott brings to Earl Street Software. His expertise spans all fields of web development: graphic design, web design, database design, and web programming. Returning to his hometown of Chicago, he founded Earl Street Software with these principles in mind. He is committed to building the best web sites and web applications. What keeps him going in this field is challenges that this work brings and the knowledge that the software he designed has made a difference.
